Ahhh thank you for the help, I am getting organised
Bob is stunning, the top photo is more to his true colour, very deep blue, the others are with a flash making him seem lighter. All I know about him is his age, so he could have splits, which would be a nice surprise These two are both first timers so anything could happen.
My most recent chicks threw me a surprise, first clutch all had black eyes, one surviving chick who was a cobalt greywing, opaline and dominant pied, pretty little fella, the next I had one black eyed chick, one plum eyed, the rest black eyed except one DIS that began to pip but didn't make it, it also appeared to have plum eyes. The surviving plum eyed chick turned out to be a cinnamon greywing (hard to tell but further dilution and slight brownish hue in the right light compared to siblings), the chick was a hen, so taught me (if I have the mutation right but it appears it couldn't be much else ) that the father is split cinnamon. All three chicks from the second clutch were mauve, grey wing (both parents greywing) yellow face (from the mother), dominant pied (mother DF dom pied) and opaline. The mother is so heavily pied I did not know she was opaline until bred, the chicks taught me a lot I still don't know her basic colour but she cannot be sky blue.
These are the parents of my last chicks, now on a well deserved break. Cock, cobalt opaline greywing, with his son from first clutch:
Hen, cobalt/mauve? opaline, greywing, yellow face and DF dom pied:
Chicks from the second clutch, left to right, Hen, hen and cock.
Bob in natural light:
Bob did get permission BB, this was taken shortly after the other photo
