He gets the royal treatment, and thanks once again for taking the time to do all these photos. You have a very lovely kind voice I am sure he must love hearing you. I liked the music in the background. Classical music is supposed to help kids be better at math. Bebe is going to be a little bird genius. The video is really fun.

brilliant, well done Bebe
re Kenny, I would say go at his pace, Bebe was very good very quickly at doing things, with Tanja..
Bailey took a few weeks and isn't even now, as adventurous as a lot on here. They do seem to all be a bit different.

I coaxed him out with millet today he was on one hand so he could reach the millet in my other hand once he realised he was out cage he went hairy mental and flew into every wall I got him on some doweling perch and teased him back home eating millet (he's distracted with good and doesn't seem to notice he is moving) I'm back to work full tomorrow but only 3day and same 3days next week then a week off then back to 5days so hoping short week and week off will give me time with him b4 I'm leaving him full time x

Awww he is gorgeous and so clever Kenny only been here a few days I'm sure his time will come how long did it take you to get him to feel safe to come out his cage? I'm trying to get Kenny used to my hand popping it into cage but I'm not sure if I should pick him up or wait till he is comfortable stepping up into my finger first x what did u do be be seems so happy and comfortable x Bebe was kind of very clownish when I decided on him in the petshop. I knew once he settles in he will be quite a character! So 1 day at home he started already eating. The funny thing is, he does eat everything I put in his food dish. He even does eat Harrison's mix without any seeds in it! That is amazing! He is still very silent, except when he sees the Black Phoebe outside on the tree, this little black and white bird comes back each day. That's the time when Bebe does sound like a siren But other than that he is still silent. BUT he started very soon to play with all his toys. Note, that in the beginning I left him in the cage and just talked to him. He wasn't afraid from my hands from the very beginning. I could change food and water & even a perch. He was not one tiny little bit afraid of anything! So after a few days I opened the cage door and played happy budgies for him on YouTube. That was definitely the moment Bebe flew out of the cage, just like that without fear and landed on the floor. Seems like he doesn't have a big problem with his clipped wings at all! He is a runner, he loves running over the floor just clown around So he actually was from the very beginning a very curious bird. I had another budgie before who sadly passed away because of unknown illness... He was completely different. He was chirping already 2-3 days after moving in, but was sitting on one perch 1 1/2 month after arriving home... He chattered and bobbed with his head, but underneath he was very sick and he didn't care about being scratched, I could even scratch him under his wings! Bebe on the contrary does not like it very much. Till today I am not able to give him a scratch. Maybe he will allow it later, but for now I am very happy about his active and adventurous character!
The thing on the floor btw. is a little heater. In the night it cools down and since the house is bigger we can't have the air condition on all day long. So I decided to heat the room in the morning a little bit and then turn it off again. That helps a lot!
And here he is again: Just finishing eating Harrison's High Potency Super Fine! (see his funny pose? He does it all the time LOL)This time he decided to land on the swing, that I connected to the rope ladder
Here you can see a little bit more
PS. I have an air purifier as well! It is a tower from Honeywell. It allows up to 3 different settings. 1. Germ, 2. General Cleaning and 3. Anti allergen

He really is a happy bud Kenny's wing are not clipped I let him out today and he flew into every wall it was quite scary! I've just got an air purifier too it's on a little table next to his cage it's an airfree so it zaps everything no cleaning n filters so Kenny should have the purest air to breath but I believe it takes a while to tackle the room upto 7days to fully appreciate the difference! Kenny has had a few chirps but still very quiet like bebe I'll have to play him happy budgies is it on YouTube? X

X My air purifier needs to be cleaned, but they say it takes up to a year until I really have to. Maybe I should have researched it a bit more. At least I did not get one that is Ionized. But still the air gets better very quick a few hours of running So it's def. good for the birds, but also for us! Try this one and see how he reacts, I think it helped a lot to calm Bebe down after arriving in his new home.

So it's a heater not an air filter. I didn't know that company made heaters. I guess you learn something every day.

I was referring to this one, in the left corner. Yes this is a little heater from Honeywell! That I only turn on first thing in the morning, so we do not need to start the Air condition for the whole house. That is pretty expensive to keep it warm all day long... So I decided to get the little heather that my husband had downstairs in his music studio and just turn it on until it gets a little bit warmer here... XD
