nour90, don't worry too much about a nail being odd; more than you may imagine have a nail or two that aren't quite perfect and the birds never have a problem with them. While your budgie's nail is heading in the wrong direction, the nail itself does not appear to be any longer than it would normally be, so be assured there. Do you know if the nail has always been like this, or is this a new thing? I think that it is possible your hen has at some time dislocated the last joint of that toe, as the nail seems to be perfectly healthy, embedded properly and without injury to the nail bed. Just keep an eye on it regularly and make sure that the nail doesn't cause her any grief, or grow too long.

It has been like this since I got her ( about 2 months ago), & I don't think it is causing her any pain or anything. She uses it normally to scratch her self. Well my eyes are always on her thanks for replying ^_^ Sent from my GT-I9200 using Tapatalk
