He's much better. He was holding his leg into his body all yesterday, but now he's just being a little careful with it. He's bouncing around okay though. Right now he's chatting away in Buglish as per usual.

My budgie, Jet is also holding his right foot up. He has always done this but now, he is not screwing up the foot as he holds it. Furthermore, he can't seem to grip with it well and kind of jumps along the perch as he is moving. he can and does rest on the foot but without curling the toes around the perch. horribly worried. I cannot see any injury on it. His tail feathers, not the longest but the second longest are leaning to the right with the left, shortest tail feathers sticking out. He is not totally closing the right wing. It is possible that he was running away from another more boisterous budge and hurt himself. I have now separated them and called the vet but I am a bit stressed that he has suggested putting Jet under anaesthetic for blood tests and x-rays when he is obviously feeling a bit weak. I am worried the stress and going under will worsen his condition I am thinking of giving him a few more days of peace and quiet before taking him in but am slightly torn as I found him like this when I came home from a work trip and it seems from what my mother told me, the foot became a problem possibly even ten days back and he was having to run away from another budgie while dealing with this foot! Heart breaking

Separate the budgie and provide heat. Post some pictures, preferably a video. It maybe just stress.
