Hi all I am thinking about getting a 2nd Budgie, therefore I would like to also change the cage for a slightly larger one. The one that I currently have is wide 35Cm, Length 40cm and about 45cm high. Does anyone have any reccomendations for a suitable change or would it the change upset my current Bird?
many thanks for any help.

A cage can never be too big, so get the biggest that you can afford, and fit in the space you have. Very occasionally a bird gets upset by a cage change but on the whole they are very happy to have more space. Remember quarantine is important, so get your new BIG cage at the same time as the new bird, or before preferably, so your bird is able to be separated from the other, and that means separate rooms, other end of the house, for a period of around a month.
