Oh, bless her, she is trying sooooooo hard. Where the little guys frightened by her, you think? I was wishing the video went for another minute so they would all get to recognize what the other was trying to show. Dilly is trying so hard to throw away the lessons she learnt the hard way about how to be a good parent.

No, they were not frightened at all, as they came from nest box, siblings and parents etc. It was the other way round. They are Dilly's first interaction with birds, other than Lovie.

They were not welcomed initially but started behaving like siblings within 10 minutes.

At feeding time, they are fed one by one. The rest snuggle up in the corner.

The eldest can fly around a foot or so high. This is her favorite place.

Well then I think she did rather well. Why have you taken the last three from the parents? A reason, or just to have all together? Or was this just for a visit?

Just to keep and raise them together, like siblings of one nest box.

Poor Mum. Is she unhappy about it all? I am not happy to see my chicks grow up and leave the nest ..... The father is from my own breeding and he was pulled from parents too. I have the mother since she was a month old. So they kind of know whats going on here.
