Hey bb av still got birds , got 27 new chicks , a got handed one of these was just checking how much they r and maybe got to buy another one , my health av got it under control and people to help so al good and happy , apart from one chick having French moult

Often it's just a dehydrated stressed out baby budgie. think its def French moult the chick was 4 weeks old wasn't growing , feathers weren't growing in its wing feathers all fell out started bleeding , picked it up feathers would just fall out shame don't like the chicks in pain

Thanks starlingqueen. Am keeping the caique inside the house just ordered a parrot cage off amazon for it, am thinking about getting it dna sexed to confirm it

DNA testing is so much easier these days. I would hate to have to pull a feather out though.

Thanks yeah there's that many nice birds now but i still prefer budgies that many nice colours
