I have been told that pets are like their owners before. I don't believe it though.

I'm really pleased to hear Meeko is ok My vet once referred to the more fattening seeds in Trill as the 'donuts' of the budgie diet. Stop eating those Donuts Meeko!!!! Sprite and Custard are also fatty boom booms. Heavy weight champions of the budgie world.

I've took mine off trill and they have Jeff & Johnson with a little Harrison's super fine. Bert kept eating the groats aka doughnuts.

Get rid of the oats or groats; whichever is added. Sorry to be reading this thread, Moogie, although all is reasonably well, just maybe a little too well. I suggest you get hold of some of the seeding grass packets that you guys have available, or grow your own sprouts, or both and replace their seed with the good stuff during the day. If possible, you may be able to sneak Elfie back in for some seed during the day, if he needs it. I have to do this with Sparky, what with him feeding the two fat ladies, he is inclined to miss out for himself. Meeko, stop being a pig!!

i dont thimk his legs are long enough for a tread mill Op,his belly would get in the way...i thought a skipping rope might be better as he could jump an flap at the same time to get himself over the rope
