Hello all, I have a question, so my budgies poop is lightish green. Is this normal? I've been feeding them wild bird seed mix specially made for budgies. I'm in a situation whereas I cannot take them to the vet. Hope to hear back! Thanks!

The photo is too small to be able to make anything out, really. Sorry.

The droppings seem kind of mushy and runny.
They should be better formed. Are they having any vegetables too?

Marianne Marlow is right, sometimes when budgies have fruit or veg their poops can change consistency. If you can tell us what the budgies diet is and for example if you have changed anything recently then we might be able to help a bit further. Just a couple of scenarios/questions: Can you also specify what is in this wild bird formulated for budgies mix? I.e. is there millet, groats, canary mix in there? It could also be if the bird has been eating a lot of cuttlebone because of moult it would need to drink more resulting making its poops a bit more squashy. Also, what part of the world are you in so if your budgie does need treatment we may be able to offer advice on where you can obtain the correct medication for your area Hope this helps!

Hmm okay, well my budgies diet consists of millet, white sunflower seeds (small), some grains and oats/groats that are compacted into tiny cylindrical shapes and some brown millet seeds (there is canary mix in it as well). I havent fed them any fruits or veggies actually. I have checked them over the course of a couple days and thier poop is more uniform in shape. I live in the USA. Oh and I was just wondering that if it was okay for my bugies to have different colored poo's. One of my budgies (the male) has a forest-y type green poo. The other (the female) has a light olive green poo. I have tried to look it up but with no avail. Thanks alot to to those that have replied! It means a ton!
