Hi everyone, So previously on this forum I had put up a lost budgie ad for a little guy we found in my local park in east London. We have made lots of effort to try and find his home, but I'm sorry to say to no avail. I was going to leave it longer, but we're off to Austria in two weeks, and then my husband's parents and sister are visiting from Turkey as soon as we're back, so we will have a full house! I have been letting the date get away from me so now I'm going to try and re-home him asap. He is a gorgeous little bird, very tame, though slightly more flighty than when he first arrived, but he has been hand tamed and will step up. As far as i can tell he is a sky blue opaline spangle, but you may want to correct me on that as I don't really know! I want to advertise him on here because I trust people on bird specific forums to be sensible and trustworthy folk who now what they're doing. I keep lovebirds so I appreciate how much effort and time birds need and I don't want to give him away to just anyone. Also, I think he needs to go to a place where there are other budgies as he seems lonely. So I have put him in a big wooden frames cage, which is a spare of my own. I'm happy to give it away with him because its is damaged a little, but stands perfectly well. I'm not selling him as he was found, so I can't charge! Let me know if you are interested, or know anyone who might be. Please, only serious people who will give this little guy a good loving home with other birds. Get in touch for more details. See some pics below Thank you! Jane

He really is a beauty and very tame by the sound of it. East London is just a bit too far for me.... I hope you find someone real soon.

Hi everyone, Good news - I have found a new home for Budge! (this is what I've started calling him) Valerie (aka Feathers!) got in touch and is going to take Budge to be a companion for her female, whose mate sadly passed away last year. I'm so happy he is going to a good home! we are meeting on monday to hand him over to his lovely new owners Thanks for the support everyone, you've all been great. J x
