I've just looked at the thread on fresh food to offer your budgie (fruit & veg) and someone (?) mentioned they feed their budgie a half an egg a day (but they don't eat it all of course) so I'm going to give Mischief some more as she had a tiny bit - no-where near half an egg . I'll let you know how she gets on.

Jean, if it is of any help, I find that my birds usually will let me know when they have had enough of a certain food. If I give them something for a number of days in a row, mostly because they really seemed to enjoy it the first day, the next day maybe the same, maybe less, and then drop off dramatically. Even putting the smallest amount out and keeping watch to see if they want more, after a couple of days they will look for something different. This is one reason I prefer to leave a pot of dry eggfood available; they can take it or leave it as needed.

Thanks Hezz, I'm keeping a close eye out just now and trying egg in different ways as suggested. I did manage to catch her today (she is much slower now) and give her bottom a good wipe as the poo was hanging caught up in the feathers, most uncomfortable I would imagine! She actually seemed better for that, or perhaps it was my imagination! Mind, there's nothing to her, she is so small and feeling under the feathers.....it's amazing they live as long as they do, there's nothing to them really! Tiny little creatures......
