Hello and welcome to the forum isakkoski. What part of the world are you in, it doesn't say in your profile? We have members on here from all over. What are your budgies names? I am not very good at working out genders but there are loads of very experienced people on this forum who will be more than happy to tell you. At a guess tho, I would say the one on the left is female and the green one possibly male. But don't rely on me, I may be totally wrong. They are good pictures so someone will be able to confirm or correct me. Oooh, I have just noticed that you seem to have a sandpaper perch cover - thats not good for budgie feet I'm afraid, likewise sand sheets on the floor. Most people use newspaper nowadays. I don't know why shops keep selling the stuff!! Hope you don't mind me saying.

Hi Shirls! Im from sweden! The white and blue one i named Semla. And the Green one Seppo. I might just remove the sandpaper then. i had no idea because the staff at the Store said it was good for the claws. and they are never in the bottom of the cage so that kind of sandpaper wouldnt help.

The thing is. if it is a male and female they might breed. and i was thinking about buying a nesting box just in case. these are my first birds. Do you think the chanses are big that they mate? Im happy for all answers and tips and tricks.

I think the blue is male and the green female. They usually wont breed if you don't put a nest box in.

Hi, i think the white one is a cock and the green a hen , don't forget they have to be at least a year old before you can breed them. These look to be very young.

As the others have suggested, I agree with one on left, cock and on the right, hen.
As for the breeding issue, do you wish them to breed? If you do not supply them with a nest box, the chances are high that they won't breed, but if you are looking to breed in the future then a nest box is a must. The little green hen does look quite young ..... do you know how old they are?
