Hopefully these photos are a bit easier to see the cere. Beaker is quite the poser but Bossy refuses to let me take a photo normally. Took these this morning in natural light with no flash, tried to get them to look at the camera. Limabean (poor old grand daddy LOL) has a very blue cere so no mistaking his sex! Thank you. May I ask how you tell when the obvious usual blue/brown cere isnt there? The way I tell is by the age and colour of your birds means they should have developed blue ceres if they were male. As they are very pale they are hens. This isn't always he case with all mutations though some of the yellow and white birds are hard to tell.
