Hi, Im new here and just wondering what happens if one of the chicks parents is an albino(male) with a mutation with a budgie that is a mix of light blue and aqua (female). Would the chick recieve each trait of the parents?
And out of curiousity, at what age will a chicl come out of the nesting box? Because one of the older chicks started poking its head around the bottom of the cage.

Welcome to the forum, Fullysupreme. I do not have answers to your questions, but our breeding experts will give you good information. We love photos, so please post photos of the babies. I enjoy watching chicks grow up. It is fascinating.

It is safe for them to be out at 30 days old.
