I gave them grated carrot and tops this morning and haven't touched it Maybe you could try hanging the carrot tops up somewhere, or even inside the cage, this is my two boys enjoying their carrot tops.

There is no nest building. The hen just lays her eggs in the concave. You can put in some woodshaving and she will remove them which is like she is clearing out a hole in the wild. Then if she lays eggs put some more in to absorb any droppings, she should leave them in there once she is busy with the eggs and chicks.

Looks like your cock likes the nest box. I would remove it and let them all bond before putting it back in.

The Hen bird is the light one at the top of the picture, from memory and looking back at your other pics and post this is what we had established. The bird in the box is a cock bird and as SQ said, he has taken a fancy to it. This is sadly one of the problems you will get with the set up you have. We can only advise on our own experience and that of others, to have any success with this it would be best to remove the two cocks at the bottom of the picture .

The cocks cere doesn't change colour except for getting a darker blue. Only the hens cere goes brown.
Not meaning to be rude or anything, but have you tried looking budgie breeding up? You will need to know a lot before they breed and when you have babies, what to do after hatching, how to take care of them what to do if they are rejected. There is a lot more to know than just 2 birds lay eggs and hatch babies. I just get the feeling you know very little and you may find problems in the near future.
