Mischief is rightly named after all! I've been sitting having my lunch while Tyler and Mischief have been going at it like rabbits in front of me He's mounted her at least 4 times and isn't she too old? It must be that Mischief is in breeding condition I presume but honestly, call me naive but seeing him squash her down like that and peck at her crown.....goodness I never saw her and Sid do that. Does she just prefer younger men - mind Sid was a year younger than her! Seriously now.....could he do her any harm and she won't lay eggs will she? I don't think I could cope, I feel I'm to old to be a grandma never mind look after baby chicks In the meantime, Bonnie tried to bathe again and there was the little blighter trying to get in with her, he had her on her back claws out pecking at her. Fortunately she escaped and he went of in search of different pursuits! Blimey!

She shouldn't lay eggs (fingers crossed) as long as she is not given the environment to do so.. i.e. a breeding box or dark corner.

This is what's been going on with my old Freddy, who is now 11. When Chilli turned up it was love at first sight and they have been inseprable, until Chilli went into the aviary. She is coping ok without him but im sure she misses him even though she is with Jo they were very much an item . She has never laid eggs thank goodness. As Marianne said if you don't provide them with anything to nest in it should be fine. Bless her, all her christmas's have come at once .

I'm not used to this, I'd forgotten but then again, different budgie personalities. I'm sure Sid got his comeuppance pretty early on and got the message, leaving her alone quite quickly. They used to 'kiss' but I never saw them actually mate! For the past two evenings Mischief has been regurgitating food too and she's never done this before, blimey

I have three boys and only one is a "humper" . The other two want to do all the looking after, feeding etc, but not the humping, and then ....... both girls let him! Smudge, who has never "let" anyone get close to her!!!

What do they say Milliej "a hot den of iniquity " I'm worried that Tyler won't appreciate Mischief hasn't his energy levels she looked worn out yesterday (I may be biased here!) Wonder how things will change when Mischief isn't in breeding mode and Bonnie is.....oh my. Mind Bonnie and Tyler love a good bobbing session together, they preen and 'kiss' and feed each other. Perhaps Tyler doesn't want Mischief to feel left out.....as if
