Yes, I realise it wouldn't be safe to pass it on to another bird...best not to...out two aren't cage chewers and only attack the toys...if Edward is determined, then she will continue to do so...may have to get her a stainless steel cage ?

The bank manger would be calling me if I did that. The Hagen Vision cages are pretty good for the money.

Oh, OK lol...just had a look at some variations...I like how they have the clear bottom section of the cage...are they easy to clean ?

The one I had was very easy to clean. Even with two budgies I could lift the top off the bottom, budgies and all. Put it on a table so the didn't escape. Then later when I had them somewhat house trained I could let them out take the seeds and things out and dunk the whole cage in the bath. Let it dry off then spray it with disinfectant. I never once saw any corrosion. I only changed it because I thought that two budgies looked a bit cramped in the medium sized. I wish I had gone for the large model which I have now ordered.
