"See how clever I am, Mum. See how clever I am". I am sure those were the words I heard.

Just like budgies, the only time they're quiet is when they're eating Lovely Georgie. How are the young un's doing ShirlsThey are doing really great jellybean. Makes us laugh, they 'honk' like mini-lorries, so they all walk round going 'honk, honk, honk'. The girls don't like them yet, but they haven't mixed much as I keep them separate! But when I let them all out together I am armed with the jet/hose pipe!! Had a shock this morning, when I looked out - Bea was in the babies enclosure! Up until now Bea has been the really vicious one, but she looked a bit shocked standing on her own with three babies, in THEIR patch!! I checked and there was no blood, no damage and all were safe, thank heavens!

I hope this is the start of a really nice bonding between them ShirlsI think it will be in the end, but apparently it does take time. At the moment I have FIVE cages to clean out every morning. Two for two lots of chickens, the three buds, Harvey in the hospital cage and Billy Boy in the quarantine cage (I found him walking about in Asda car park!). I have to give meds to Georgie - she has bumblefoot and I have to medicate Harveys feet cos he has bumblefoot too. What with that and my wasp sting, this is the house of horrors! When all is back to normal (well, you know what I mean by normal) I will just have two cages to clean out. One outside and one in! Apologies if I rambled a bit there!

Apart from the wasp stings you must be enjoying it. I mean apart from the two with bumblefoot and Billy Boy the rest is of your own making. You have my sympathy mind, I couldn't cope with all that. Will your house be back to normal ever again I wonder.

No houses with budgies can be classed as normal. Or chickens!!!
