Read through some of the advice given in the taming section. Have a look through some of the threads, and get some idea of what you need to be doing. Sorry I can't spend the time, but I need to get off air ....

When you log in there's a list of threads, like this one is called Budgie Talk General, if you look down this list you'll see different threads for taming, feeding, health etc with lots of good suggestions, advice etc but make sure you have plenty of time I think the Taming thread is about 8 down the list. Hope this helps (oh and welcome)

Hi. i just joined and was hoping i could get some advice. i havent got a budgie yet but we are thinking about it. i have experience from bird gardens and places like that. i, however, do not recall seeing a budgie anywhere. i was told that a budgie is the best parrot to start with.
im sorry for not being an expert but i don't know how to ask questions so im just going to wing it.

As above, read through the stickies, for you, in all sections so you know what you need for a budgie, what to feed, how to interact etc. They are the best places to start.
