hey guys. i have Common myna he/she is not mature yet . when i take her outside the cage she keep biting her feet.in the cage she has no problem . i can't see any problem whit her feet . i took her to vet and vet just gave me some vitamins and painkiller ! i also massage her feet whit vitamin A+D+E Cream . but no sign of improvement . for food i give her "beaphar" and "SmartHeart Mynah Bird Food" and Grapes + bread . she is very nice bird and friendly . but it is very hard to see she can't enjoy walking and being free in the house .

I really cannot help you there, aamm. She doesn't have scaly mites, perhaps? They can affect legs and feet, but doesn't explain why she is fine inside the cage but not out.

It could be a nervous thing. My African grey chews his claws when nervous. She may improve when she gets to know you better or when she matures.

thanks guys. maybe nervous but i don't know.she is very brave . first day i got her she came and sit on my shoulder and every one in the house .i can hand feed her or total stranger can do it .
