I am bored today and it is cool out so I am browsing on line. In a few weeks when Lola's quarantine is up, she will be moving in with Ringo. I have read that there should be more than one food and water dish. Right now there is a water tube, a hopper of seed, a large bowl of water and a cup for fresh food/ veggies. Should I have two of all of those - that is a lot of dishes! Or just have two sources of water and two cups of seed?

They might not mind sharing, but for starters you definitely do need to have two seed pots. Water is not such a big thing as they will drink at different times of the day, and for fresh food you will just need to monitor them and see whether one is hogging the bowl or whether both get to have a decent dig in. But seed, they will often want to feed at the same time and often they will not want to share.

Even if you put six of everything in the cage, you may find that what one has the other will want at the same time (Sometimes). Even fresh foods. I have got all three of mine eating certain greens now and quite often put two lots in the cage at the same time. But one will start to nibble & then another one wants to nibble at the same food. Two dishes (or whatever you use) of seeds and same with fresh foods, as Hezz says. I have one water fountain for all three budgies and they all drink at different times.
