Yep! I found a 52' cage on eBay for $72, with legs, rollers & pull out pan. So tempting. I'm curious about the quality.

That's why I'm single. I haven't got anyone else to worry about when I'm living on beans on toast lol

If you would like to give us a brand name for the cage blackeyedbird we may be able to tell you about the quality. There's not a lot wrong with beans on toast Jane. They keep one going.

Depends which way you look at it (e-bay). I have sold loads of stuff on it, just Saturday I had someone come and collect my dining room table and 6 chairs!!! Got a good price too. Now waiting for a new table and chairs to arrive! Such fun!!

I have bought and sold lots on ebay... only one ever guy who tried it on, after taking the item.
but bought my last phone on there, brand new, boxed and unopened, £100 less than the store
I think as long as the person has a good record that is selling (or buying), more or less you are ok

I've just been looking on ebay but I'm not keen on starting on there my daughter (no 2) shops on there tho and has never had any problems, I tend to stick to amazon which has just about everything....except....my first little dustbuster appears to be giving up and I just cant replace it for the same model. Although I have 2 others, I really like this one, I wish they'd stop updating and changing designs that work and really are ok! (it's that money god again!)

But above is the URL for the auction. It says the brand is Globalbid but that's the name of the eBay seller. It ships from California. I'm sitting outside a bird store waiting for them to open. Got to find some girls for my boys. He he heeeeeeeee! I'll take some pictures if the proprietors allow.

I have just had a look at the cage on ebay and noticed the cage bars spacing is given as 0.8 inches. Whilst that is not massivly wide it is over the recommended width for budgies. The recommended maximum is 0.5 inches. Maybe someone else would like to comment on that. I should hate to think that a budgie had gotten its head stuck.

Ah! I hadn't seen that. It's just as well. It's too big for my house really.

It is a great cage, but maybe not for a budgie.

Well I did not buy the used Prevue, I think it was an F040, from EBay. I mean, they can't fly right now because of their poor clipped wings anyway. I mentioned buying a bigger cage to hubby and his reply was that they didn't need a bigger cage but I will do as I normally do when it comes to the animals and ignore him. I think it will be a while. In order for it to fit in my house, a bookshelf will have to go. That will require some effort but not impossible. I will wait a bit. Maybe I can catch a new one on sale. There are many sales online on Black Friday so that may be a good time to look.

Good luck, grace, both with the getting what you want and removal of the bookshelf.

Also, it says on that listing that they do not ship that cage to the United Kingdom.
