Hey guys, Chip's favourite toy broke about a week ago and I fixed it with sellotape, i change the sellotape every week and the toy is in the cage. Anybody know if sellotape is bad for budgies because he keeps pecking at it ? any ideas whether this is harmful? he keeps having dry sneezes aswell sneezes only started since i fixed the toy

I'm probably not much help but I'm my opinion I personally wouldnt use it incase the birds wing or something got stuck in it. I would buy a new toy just to be on the safe side

I wouldn't use it, Joey. Especially if Chip is chewing at it. He'll easy take bites out of it and eat it.

I use a similar type to lock the feed tray openings in the side of the baby cages. They were able to chew anything before this but now they can't chew this tape and are unable to open it.

Just to add that the glued side is stick to each other and it is just covering the thin bars.
