Buddy Boy Blue the Brave is now at peace
Dear Buddy,
I wanted to write to you to say just how much you were and always will be loved. From the moment I saw you in Worthing at the breeders climbing the cage behind me bouncing up and down l knew you wanted to come and live with us!
Once home you had such a wonderful nature and that just grew and grew like you did too! You were Buddy big boy! As you use to say! Budgie swings were too small we had to take it back and change it for a larger swing and you were in a cage designed for 6 birds! Andy even had to squeeze your swing hooks tight because you always love unhooking things. With the family flock we had so much fun didn't we! You loved to play hide and seek! Telling me sounds that certain objects made "car" you would tell me BEEP, BEEP. Thanks for reminding me at the right time everyday about the boys lunch boxes "SANDWICHES" Don't worry about saying it at the weekends too, although as James and Alex told you "No Buddy no school at the weekends"
There was certainly never a dull moment! You were my 2nd Husband (my bit on the side Buddy!) you were such a flirt, "HELLO GORGEOUS" wolf whistles "GIVE US A KISS" you certainly were born to entertain! With your amazing looks which I always had trouble in catching on camera because of your speedy inquisitive nature! But with your huge Father Christmas beard we nicknamed you Professor B because of your wise huge presence within the home.
Well now Buddy Boy you presence is gone because someone wanted your wisdom and knowledge. We tried so hard to fly to that tiny light in the very long tunnel but we just couldn't reach it could we?
BUT our Dearest Buds........Andy the boys and I saw a brighter light higher inside that awful tunnel.
Buddy you were and continued to be the most important Boy in all this so we chose to use our hands and guide you to that everlasting light. Buddy sit tall my angel, talk to all your new friends most of all make sure you let them get a word in!
I wished you could talk to me but I know that wasn't meant to be sweet Boy. Your time was too short but Buddy boy it's quality not quantity and you gave us so much I think you wore yourself out Big Boy!
You make sure you send all the wild birds even more into the garden so I can feed them and help them fatten up for winter!
Fly High Buddy Boy, save your soul...This is going to take a little getting use to but I know you are at Peace little man...........
Memories will never fade because you made such great ones!
Love to all your new flock, here's a huge bag of millet to share with your feathered family now! Let everyone have some there's plenty to go round! I will send some more to you, send me a feather and I will know you are in need of a treat and some chat! Huddle together to keep warm. Let's hope the Winter won't be too cold.........
JOJO (As you called me Buds didn't you!)
