Hi everyone, I am new here and have a rescue budgie called Joey that I got given a year ago from an elderly neighbour who couldn't manage him. He smoked too! So poor Joey was stuck in a cage with smoke. I let him fly out all day around my flat. He has natural branches from my allotment and grasses from there too. I had another female budgie from a rescue centre but she was always sickly with liver disease and sadly passed on just before Christmas. I want to help another bird find a home and be a friend for Joey who is desperate for a friend. He's obsessed with mirrors! I live in Exeter, Devon. Thanks, Jenny

Hi jewren, welcome to the forum. Poor little guy, I'll bet he was delighted when you rescued him, you seem to know a bit about budgies if you have given him natural branches and grasses. I hope someone on the forum can help you find a friend for Joey. Would love to see some pictures.

Hi Jenny, I hope you find a good home for Joey soon, if you were nearer to me I would have him. Have you not considered keeping him yourself, like jellybean said you seem to know your stuff?

I'm new here I am looking for a male budgie baby - adult who must be male for my male budgie Mr Mango, he Is very lonely. Delivery to Edinburgh Midlothian would be fab as I'm about housebound. But I will pay extra for fuel. Many thanks for reading. Karen
