They remind me of my old battery hens, the first chooks we had. So cute, we had them wander in the door all the time. Often found them sat on the computer desk with one of the kids.

You don't "put" chooks away, they go to bed themselves when the sun starts to go down, then you just close the door unless you have an automatic door and it closes itself.

Just shows how much i know about chooks , i didn't think they had foxes in Aus either but it seems they do, another gift from us along with the rabbits it seems

Very true, skysmum. Foxes and rabbits are both dirty words over here, along with feral pigs and cats. Goannas just luuuuuurve chook eggs, as well, and pythons will eat both. Shirls, I hadn't even noticed the video, so thanks for pointing that out. I just loved the diva on her queen-sized bed.
