reading several articles on feeding liquid calcium direct to the crop in cases of emergencies can help a budgie no end, but how is this done?

A 21 days old healthy budgie does not require crop feeding. It can be hand fed through a syringe, or a bent spoon, or a dropper. Can I ask why are you trying to hand feed?
