How can you tell if cock or hen? I was told a cock bird when I got it but it's paired off with another cock bird so now I'm wondering 🤔

Going purely on head shape I would say a cock bird however, (if I am right not sure) I am lead to believe that if it is a hen then you can tell when she goes into breeding condition as her cere will turn crusty. Anyone else who would care to confirm this would appreciate it Other than that it will be a vet job to sex your bird. But what a stunning bird you have! I hope that helps you

He looks male. Two males can get on very well. Better than make and female so I have read anyway. skysmum can testify regarding how two males can get on together. Her Bertie and Bumble are like two old codgers together

I'm not sure you'll be able to tell, unless by behaviour (more singing and head bobbing) and if the cere goes brown!
