Had my old boy at the vets last night, he's been vomiting and has diarrhoea. Just got back from the vets again this morning. He's no better, I was up all night with him, carrying him in and out of the garden. He is trying to poo but nothing is coming out now, he's vomited a few times this morning. He hasn't eaten in 24 hours but is drinking. He had an antibiotic shot and he has pills too.He had blood tests done, we will have the results this afternoon. He may have to go in on a drip.

Teddy was admitted to the vets this evening and is on a drip. They were worried about complications with his diabetes and him not having eaten since 10am yesterday. He was also passing blood.

Oh Wendy, I've been so busy today that I've only just seen this. Thinking of you and Teddy so much. You know I've always had such a soft spot for him. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way so that Teddy can come back from this.
I'm sure he's going to be well looked after at the vets and he's such a little fighter. Come on Teddy. I'm rooting for him. x

Thank you everyone. Had a call from the vets this morning and Teddy is a bit better. He has had a small meal but they are waiting for test results to see if he has pancreatitis, a common problem with diabetic dogs. He has to stay in for another 24 hours so I have to take more food up for him. I cook his food myself and have run out so need to cook more today before I can take it up. I hope it's not Pnceatitis as it is an on going condition that flares up regularly.
