checked the nest boxes before and there was a lone egg in one of them that had a smudge of blood on it, Ive checked the mothers vent and all is ok there and there are no other signs of blood anywere on her. I have done a quick check over the rest of the colony and cant notice anything. Should i be worried?

caused when young hens are used Serz or lack of calcium producing a rough shelled egg

She will be okay Serz, but do make sure they are not breeding at under 10 c
