have a watch of this and give me opinions. Gabe (green) has always been the first on my hand, leo is still a bit tentative with it. they always squabble when food is involved. just wanting to make sure its nothing malicious and it is just the normal pecking order

That behaviour looks perfectly normal to me. I see my 6 pecking at each other all the time, usually over food, a swing, or even a coveted spot on a perch. They're just like kids squabbling over a toy. I've never seen anyone get hurt, but occasionally there are hurt feelings and the offended party makes a particular loud chattering noise.

There is nothing malicious in that, redbeardnz. Just make sure that you give the other bird a chance to have a go at the millet as well. You might need to pop Gabe into another cage for a bit, while Leo gets to have a nibble uninterrupted. It is possible that Leo is going to stay rather tentative if he is shooed off by Gabe each time. Sometimes separating them works; sometimes the other doesn't feel so sure without his mate around - safety in numbers etc. The alternative, then, is to have a piece of millet in each hand. There will still be some push and shove but hopefully Leo will have enough smarts to go to the hand where Gabe isn't. If you see them rolling around on the floor, locked together and drawing blood, that's when you need to interfere.

thanks guys. I was fairly sure it was fine, but there's always that wee part in your brain that says otherwise.
I will try both hands, i hadn't thought of that, bloody simple solution really. To be fair, the pecking is probably deserved, as Leo has a thing for nibbling on Gabes tail.

Good. Glad Gabe isn't getting it all his own way, then.
