Quite a few of the Australian breeders use those multi-catch live traps - Tomcat brand I think. Then drown the mice. Better than using poison baits.

A lot of other innocents can be fatalities with poisons. Personally I would rather trap, and dispose. Alive or otherwise.

cant beat a good hammer,but youve got to be quick ;D Oh, yeah, Ian. And don't get too close!! Speaking from experience...... I had a sick one in my laundry a number of years ago, so got the hammer to put it out of it's misery. Ended up with a face full of mouse brains.

It looks like it would do the job- put some peanut butter in it, that seems to encourage them in. I had to deal with mice once, I preferred to catch them alive but then drove about 7 miles before releasing!

I'd never kill one but then I don't even kill spiders, I carry them outside using the cup and card method and release them. Used to pick them up but hubby wont let me..
