How long does EMP eggfood last before going "bad". Im assuming you can keep it in a good while when it's wet?.

i only leave it in during the day ...whats left i chuck away before its time to lock up at night.... and put fresh in the next morning.... i used to leave it till the next morning but some one on our old forum said dont leave it more than 4 hrs....but if you put it in dry it can stay alot longer...

I agree with Mick, only keep it for a day (morning to evening) but not even usually that long. Being tropical we have heaps of ants, and anything fresh attracts ants in a short time.

can EMP egg food be given to the birds dry straight out the packet? at the moment in serving it mixed with boiling water from the kettle and they dont seem bothered

I changed to supapets moist soft food far less waste and my birds love it smells of honey
