Hi My young budgie Marty fell into a pintglass which had about an inch or so of squash left in it! I rescued him immediately and hes now recovered from the shock. I tried to get him have a bath/wash to get rid of some of the squash, but he really didnt want to so didnt force him. He seems fine, though his feathers do look a little clumped together, Ive stroked them and they dont feel particulary sticky and his flying is still fine - was just wondering how much of a fuss I should make.... whether to make him have a quick bath so all the squash has gone to prevent further problems or just to leave him to clean it himself, he has been preening since! Cheers

If you are going to mist him in this weather (I am assuming you're in the UK??) make sure it's nice and warm in the room
