Unfortunately she passed away in February. Oh, I'm so sorry Marianne, how old was she when she passed away, obviously there's no sign of French Moult but did you have any tests done to find out why she couldn't fly? I had a flightless lutino for around 6 years and obviously they make wonderful pets so I can certainly relate to your very sad loss, admittedly I struggle to sex Ino's but I think mine was a cock due to his personality. So how many birds do you have now Marianne, do you breed? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just interested

She could hold on to the perch and flap her wings, but didn't have the instinct to flap them if she fell. She was definitely all hen! Had the bite and personality to prove it. I have 8 birds, they're all in my signature, which you can only see if you use the desktop version of the site. I don't breed them, I only take in rehomes.

No one should judge you negatively for putting the care of your birds first. Hats off to you, I say. Edit: Didn't see the second page! Give me a slap!
