Hi there. I'm new and there is loads of info on here. I'm looking for a young budgie that can become part of the family. It will fly free whenever possible. I don't want to just go to a pets shop as I'd like one from a good breader that is used to human contact or tame. In this case is it best to get 1 or 2. If you have 2 will they not want to interact as they will just bond with each other?

Hi Jim and welcome. That is a good question; a lot depends on what you what with your pet. Here is a link to the pro and cons of both ..... budgerigarsforum.proboards.com/thread/750/budgie-friendI can't help you regarding where to go, but if you add your place in the world to your profile, maybe someone close by might know of a reputable breeder. Where are you???

Hi I live near Cambridge. Is there a way to get alerted when someone responds to your post? I had to search through all the new entries.

On the right hand side under the forum banner, there is a button labeled Participated. Click that and it will show you your thread.
