Hello again everybody. I was just wondering whether any of you could give me some advice of how to tame new budgies. As you may know I already have two, one of which has French Moult. He is rather tame and is doing well however is losing more feathers by the day. I separated them both for a while and then recently purchased two new male budgerigars.
I thought I was only going to purchase one but I ended up getting two as the female apparently prefers to mate with more of her species around. Anyway, I put them all together in one cage and they are getting on alright. I let them out of their cage for the first time and I don't know how to get them to like me. I gave them plenty of food such as egg, fruit and millet seeds but I have a feeling that it will be difficult to tame these two as they lived in an aviary and my French Moult bird couldn't fly when I purchased him a year ago.
If you guys have any advice that would be great.
