Hi everybody, I am new to this forum and also new to owning budgies of my own! I first fell in love with them 5 years ago when a budgie flew into our house! We searched high and low for his owners, lost and found sites, we put posters up, contacted local vets etc but with no luck so we bought him a big cage and gave him a home. When my husband and I moved from my parents house 2 years ago we left him with my parents as we weren't allowed pets. "Minder" as the children named him, is still going strong and we visit him every week. Recently we have moved again and we have bought two young budgies of our own, Misty and peaches. We are not sure of the sex of them yet and Mistys cere keeps changing colour, I guess it will be clearer when they are fully mature. They are not related so I would possibly want to breed with them in the future but not until I am confident I know everything there is to know about budgies! I would share a picture of my little beauties but i don't know how! Anyway, hello again! Thanks for letting me join, Gemma

Hi, Gemma, hubbie, Misty and Peaches (in no particular order); welcome to the forum. For photos you can go through a photo hosting site, or use the 'Add image to post' button in the top left corner or the reply section. It will step you through getting your photos up as a thumbnail, and we can then click on them to enlarge them for ourselves. Flickr and tinypic are two sites that come to mind; don't use photobucket - they have been giving a few of us grief lately.
