I had to laugh, the lovies are obviously feeling more comfortable; comfortable enough to be thinking about lining their "nest". Can you see the few strands of paper left that they have managed to get up into their coconut? They go more up there, but most fell back down. Unfortunately I missed the best of all of this.

Oh sweeet! They obviously love staying with you Hezz! Wouldn't it be great if they laid some eggs before they went home!!! Then they would have to stay with me until after the eggs hatched. And then I would have to have a baby or two, just because I was surrogate step-carer, and things then get really complicated.

Bet you'll miss them Hezz. Dont think I could do bird sitting, I'd get too attached to them and not want them to go home.

They were lovely visitors to have, albeit a bit on the messy side, but much loved and when you know they are only on loan, and well looked after, it makes it a bit easier. I do miss them, but also think that possibly my own missed out on a bit of my interaction as there only so many hours in a day, and I was always popping in and out to make sure the visitors were happy, healthy and not up to toooo much mischief. Then wash hands and go back to my own flock for a kiss and a cuddle. I couldn't cuddle the visitors.
