I am supposed to be getting a pair of black masked lovebirds next week and have done as much research as I can, what is concerning me is the fact that some people say they are extremely noisy and others say they are not. I was wondering if anyone on here has any and could tell me a bit more about how noisy they are. Also are two cocks better that a cock and hen. Thanks in advance.

They can be very noisy, when i first got my pair of fischer love birds they used to make a lot of noise very early in the morning.
Now i hardly hear them as they are happy tearing paper up to build their nest, well when i say build its more like they line it very deep in shredded paper that they have some how made to fell like very soft material.
I think now the budgies make more noise than my two.
