They are doing really great thank you, groeing up so fast, flying all over the place, eating well, we have a tree in the living room, and even little Charlie can perch in it, although he is disabled, all my worries about them both, but mainly Charlie were for nothing, he can do everything the others can do, so all is great. just one surprise Bob is sitting on 5 more eggs, I didnt even know, I didnt take much notice of the nestbox, as the chicks were staying out most of the time, I was going to remove when they had finished with it, I cleaned it one day, no eggs, now there are 5, so Ill definately be moving once theses have hatched.

Thanks everyone. I must pick up on your comment Hezz, it has been worrying me too, that Bob has 5 more eggs so soon. I can assure all who are concerned about Bob, I will not let this happen again, I should have researched a lot more, I just never expected her to lay so soon after having Cheeky and Charlie. She is doing fine, as they all are, I know you are only concerned because you care, and I thank you for that.

No, 3rd, 1st clutch bluey broke all eggs, so no chicks, 2nd clutch, 2 chicks Cheeky & Charlie, now Bob is sitting on 5 eggs. I am worried that this has happened, the last thing I want is for Bob to come to any harm. Will she be ok.

I mean if a hen is breeding after six months or so, how many eggs she should be allowed until rested again. Be cautious this time though as she may start laying again when the youngest one or two chicks are still in the nest box.
