Ok thank you, I will be careful not to let this happen again, I will keep watch now I know this can happen, yes there is plenty of calcium. I feel better now I know Bob should be ok. I think we have enough budgies, so no more .

Oh, Bizzly, I wasn't being critical. Not at all. But I'm glad you took my comment as in the interest of the birds. I just thought it was a rather taxing thing for poor Bob, especially as she is probably going to go it alone with this lot too. She may be one of these natural-born mothers, you know the ones - if she were human, would be popping out a baby with barely a halt in her stride. it seems Bluey gets his way and then has a holiday - he's be the bloke down the pub shouting drinkings and smoking a cigar, while Bob is laid up and doing all the work. And yes, the number of birds: from two pets, to four pets, to.......... we don't count chicks before they hatch for a very good reason, but I suppose you can expect at least one or two..... I really do mean good luck with the eggs.

Thank you BB, Im pretty sure we have a chick already, as I can hear it, havent had chance to look yet. Hi Hezz there is no way I thought you were being critical at all, sorry if I made it sound that way, the main concern for me, as with all on this site is the birds welfare and happiness, so as you say while Bluey is in the pub having a jolly old time, poor Bob, is bare foot, pregnant and tied to the kitchen sink. So now we wait see what happens with the eggs and chicks, and no more for certain, Bob is going to have a well earned rest, bless her.

Hell's bells, chicks already! So Bob's just quietly behind your back has been going about her business for a wee while then. Wonder what Cheeky and Charlie will think of babies in the family?
