About 1 week ago my 6 year old rabbit Sweetie started acting rather off. He was no longer himself and became rather bad tempered whenever we went near him, and became increasingly docile. We kept a good eye on him, as rabbits have a tendency to go down fast when they are ill. A few nights later we noticed that he had stopped going to the toilet, was eating very little, his stomach was gurgling and had began grinding his teath, which indicates that he was in pain.
At about 2 am we decided to take him to an emergency vet where he was checked and we were told he had gut stasis and his guts we’re working very slowly, poor little guy! On the way back we stopped off at the shop to get his some supplies the vet recommended to encourage him to eat, and we now know he is a fan of coriander!
Over the course of the night we took it in turns to siringe feed him his recovery food from the vet and a few hours later he seemed much brighter in himself. One week on he is all better I’m glad to say!

I'm glad your rabbit is better now. I have 2 rabbits and both have had gut stasis in the past. It's certainly a worry when they aren't well. Syringe feeding is hard but definitely makes a difference. My rabbits like coriander too
