And now we know that he didn't eat them, wasn't impressed with his "cow-food".

These little budgies have no idea how much I am suffering with my allergies just for them to refuse the grass! Sky: I think it might be art guys!

UPDATE: Basil went and nibbled a little bit and I saw Hector sneakily eat some from inside of the cage where it had drooped down.

Hi I'm definitely going to have a go at growing millet after seeing this but in the meantime I got this from Amazon. It sprouted really quickly and looks lovely but I've only put it in the aviary today so the boys haven't touched it yet. Will be interesting to see if they do :-)

It does look like art, Marianne! Sky has an eye for this sort of thing. I am truly happy that at least one or two of the little ratbags has had a nibble. A bit sad that you have to suffer for it, though.

Wow! It is contemporary planting in their environment! Looks very nice - how are they finding it now Marianne Marlow? Well obviously those ones got chucked away yesterday as they wilted. Today I am going to get then some dill as I know Custard will eat some of that. Tomorrow I'll try them with the millet/nyger grass. Hows yours? any shoots yet?
