Glad the birdies appreciated the grass, clt80. I think I am lucky, they will eat anything!! You only need a good eater, or a greedy one, and then they all follow suit. I can vouch for that!

(Sorry .... couldn't resist!! ) The bold budgie is definitely worth his or her weight in gold when it comes to introducing new food. Once one is eating, the others are afraid of missing out on something good.

My bold budgie is Blithe, he will usually go over and sample things first. But no one was keen on grass

I have just yesterday planted some more in my magic compost. Watch this space. It's still growing although at a much slower rate. The lack of sunshine I think. Although we have just had a great afternoon of sun today. The celery is still growing, slowly as it is not getting much sunshine either. It hasn't popped its clogs yet though.

The garden birds are loving the feeder. I rigged a cctv camera up on the inside so I can get a real close up view.
