The frequency, duration and severity of the moult varies from bird to bird, and from moult to moult. One, two, three or many times a year. It depends on the individual bird, and the environment - time of year, illness, stress, breeding, weather, etc.
The moult can last for just a week, or go on for many weeks.

That seem to be true stace. Because some of my birds pass their moult and I do not notice even, but some look like they will pass away from stree. for example my normal green bird is passing through moult and I don't think he will get through it since he is getting worst day by day. Others of his age have no problem.
