Hello These are pictures of my new little friend Soleil. It can hear the budgies 2 rooms away so we just had a little escape into the room and it tasted the nasturtiums on the windowsill. Has lived with me a week so far and it has a lovely personality. Maybe a little too clever for me. I have done my best with the pictures but whenever the camera is near Soleil closes it's eyes or puts it's head under it's wing. Good enough to tell?

Sorry it might be me but I don’t understand the question. What is it you’re asking?

Sorry it might be me but I don’t understand the question. What is it you’re asking? If it’s gender I would say Male.

I agree also, male. Do you know the budgies age?
Is the cere as purple in person?

Yes, sorry, gender. Am too excited with my new little friend.
It is quite purple, at least what I would call pink. He is young, but the lady in the pet shop said a couple of weeks and made a big deal you could not possibly tell gender at this age... so I am not sure she had any idea. I think he is a couple of months old. He does not have any iris that I can see and I believe he may be pied (learnt from my lurking about on here).
I will try and get a good picture of the whole of him to see what mutation he could be, but it won't be today because outside the weather is awful and it felt like night time early afternoon.
