When I get some cash together I really want to order some French Red millet for my birds. It's meant to be more nutritious, or have I been taken in?
It's a lot more expensive..

It's a lot more expensive.. looks good Marianne, might try some.....Millet Sprays are a rich source of B-vitamins and trace metals and are also gluten free. Millet Sprays are also high in Carbohydrate and low in fat, with around 10% protein content. For most birds a Millet Spray is a welcome treat, from the smallest of finches to large Macaws a millet spray is a nutritional and stimulating food item. One kilo of millet sprays can contain between 50 and 60 individual sprays www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Versele-Laga-French-Red-Millet-Sprays-1kg-/190579470144

Its a lottery with millet sprays , 99.9 % comes in from Asia via mice infested ships , all seed merchants will then buy from the same source, we get good and we get bad crops. All sprayes are soaked overnight in a solution of vanodine v18 , this will kill off the fungal spores.
Red millet sprays are often yellow , this depends on the soil they grow in . I cannot afford to pay the french prices and buy the chinese for £15 a box of 15 kilos
