I have been told adding a male to two females might cause th females to fight. If I added two males to the two females would that be better? Is it difficult? Any advice would be great thank you.

Yes, there will most likely be trouble if you add one.
When I had my two males, I added two females. For a little while my males were terrified of the females (who were more bossy!). After a little while two of them paired up, and then the other two followed, so it was perfect! One of my females died recently and the males have been fighting over the remaining female. :-(
So, yes, definitely add two. Slowly introduce them to each other... i.e. outside time together first but seperate cages (for the benefit of the males!). Hopefully they will pair up with no problems.

Don't forget to quarantine, if you do get more birds.
