Vertical bars, but I don't feel it is fair on the budgies. I haven't got the money to buy a really expensive cage. I want the biggest and cheapest. I've come across one that fits my budget. The cage is all vertical bars. Will it be OK?

Didn't you already have quite a large cage? My cage has vertical bars and it's fine. They can still climb around easily if that's what is worrying you? I don't think it really matters to them which way round the bars are - they're quite good little climbers.

Vertical bars don't matter if you have adequate perches, space them well apart and they'll encourage flying exercises more than lazy wall crawler!

Its about the same size as mine, fine for adult birds but you'll have to be mindful that chicks can and will be able to escape from it if they try.

Check out a few second hand cages. You can often find something of even better quality and size for less.

Go for the nicer square or rectangular ones, round cages are awful design and birds rarely get enough flight space inside them.

Only one door. Want to be able to attach a nesting box. Thank you though.
